The activity 'Depot Level Maintenance' means the repair of items that can not be serviced by the customer. This activity requires well equipped workshops, trained personnel and material management down to the smallest replaceable part. ESDAS, within its facility runs a depot comprising more than 6000 line items.
Depot Level Maintenance tasks are carried out in a planned timely manner and in accordance with rules and regulations developed following common practices and industrial and military standards. Activities are controlled and monitored by the Quality Assurance department. Mechanics and Electronics are synonyms for areas of responsibility dealing with overhaul, refurbishment, calibration, repair, modification, and checkout of complete electronic systems as well as parts thereof. |

Service facilities include mechanical, electro-mechanical, electric, electronic, hydraulic, and cable workshops. Services are provided in Gölbaşi/Ankara for systems or parts transported from various customers located in Turkey or other NATO member countries to the facilities.
Warehousing of TUAF and/or NATO owned Material is the task of a subdepartment of Depot Level Maintenance. The management of a TUAF and/or NATO owned material depot, procurement in behalf of the TUAF and/or NATO and distribution of goods are performed. The depot is located within ESDAS facilities in Gölbaşi/Ankara and performance of tasks follows the rules given by Turkish Air Force. Combined hereto is a company owned warehouse, to serve the non-military tasks of ESDAS.

All kinds of system failures are determined and eliminated in minutes.
Repair and maintenance works are performed in the ESD protected stations.
Computerized systems repair and maintenance are performed by using the latest technologies.
Printed Circuit Boards are tested by Automatic Test Equipment(ATE). Discrete components such as integrated circuits are checked functionally without desoldering the components.
